CEO Patrick Mathieu joined Armacell in May 2012. He has more than 25 years of experience including 15 years in the building and insulation materials sector. Previously he was President of Western Europe and the International Flooring Division at the Tarkett Group.
Dr. Max Padberg
- Chief Financial Officer -
Dr. Max Padberg joined Armacell as Chief Financial Officer on 1 July 2015. He is responsible for Group Finance, Corporate Controlling, Accounting, Tax and IT. Dr. Max Padberg has more than 20 years of management experience and assumed wide-ranging responsibilities. His previous positions include CFO at the RÜTGERS Group, CFO at Versatel AG, SVP Finance with worldwide responsibility for LSG Sky Chefs and several management positions at Mannesmann in Germany and in the USA.
- Chief Legal & Compliance Officer -
Jan Bir joined Armacell as General Counsel in August 2014. Before, he has worked in private practice, focussing on Corporate / M&A.
- Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) -
Wendy Lim has been Armacell's Chief Human Resources Manager since 1 September 2016. She joined Armacell in January 2015 as General Manager Human Resources for the APAC region. Previously she was Regional HR Director for Avery Denison. Wendy Lim has more than 15 years of extensive HR experience and international professional experience in various markets.
- Chief Technology Officer -
Roberto Mengoli has been Armacell’s Chief Technology Officer since January 2013. He is in charge of global technology as well as operations policies and programmes. He has more than 18 years of experience, primarily in operations, promoting and developing manufacturing and lean programs. He also gained experience in manufacturing at companies such as the Saint-Gobain Group, Elica and the SACMI Group.

Norman R. Rafael has been Vice President Corporate Development at Armacell since July 2015. He joined Armacell on 1 September 2014 and has more than 18 years of professional experience. Previously, Norman held senior positions within investment banking and capital markets at UBS, Credit Suisse and a German private bank.
Keith A. Norwood
- Vice President Americas -
Keith A. Norwood took over the position as Vice President Americas on 1 August 2016 . He is based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA. From 2013 to 2016, he was Armacell’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Prior to this, Keith A. Norwood was in charge of Human Resources and Information Technology for Armacell’s Americas region. He has more than 25 years of leadership experience in HRM at companies such as Armstrong World Industries and National Spinning Co. Inc. He also has extensive experience in organisational development, public relations and mass communications.
- Vice President Asia Pacific & Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) -
Andrew Stearns has been Vice President Asia Pacific at Armacell since 1 June 2013, based in Singapore. In addition, on 1 August 2016 he took over the position as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He has more than 25 years of business leadership experience in the building products industry. His previous positions include Group Chief Supply Officer at Grohe AG, Divisional Marketing-/ International Business Director at Novar (Caradon), President / CEO Grohe Americas and Group Logistics Director at Novar plc.

Guillerme Huguen joined Armacell as Vice President EMEA on 1 October 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in managing international industrial businesses, mostly in the construction and building materials industry (including marketing management at the Saint-Gobain Group), he is deeply familiar with the nature of the business, as well as, market trends, key players and customers.
- Vice President Engineered Foams -
Bart Janssen has been Armacell's Vice President Engineered Foams since 1 August 2016. He joined Armacell 10 years ago and worked as Global Sales & Marketing manager and Managing Director of the Thimister (PET) plant in Belgium. Bart Janssen has more than 20 years of professional business experience in various markets, predominantly Automotive and Wind Energy. Before joining Armacell he held various managing positions at the Japanese company Nitto Denko.
