Special Olympics Luxembourg
We are proud to support Special Olympics Luxembourg, an association aimed at changing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, through the power of sports.
They offer year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. We support this association and most particularly the tennis team, because we believe in inclusion. In all of its forms.
Top athletes from Luxembourg also participate in the Special Olympics World Games, the world’s largest humanitarian sporting event and a global movement towards inclusive society. In 2019, the Special Olympics World Games were held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Aktion Kleiner Prinz - The Little Prince
Our colleagues in Germany support a project known as "The Little Prince", which aims at giving immediate international aid to children in need. The Armacell family regularly makes a difference by collecting and donating clothes in good conditions. The non-profit organisation has offered practical and financial support on a voluntary basis since 1993.
Toys for Tots
The Toys for Tots programme was founded at the behest of the U.S. Marine Corps in 1991. The organisation’s mission is to collect toys and distribute them to less fortunate children at Christmas.
Armacell employees in the USA are proud to have helped this non-profit public charity regularly since 2013. Because children count and sharing is caring.
Dr Kershaw's Hospice
Armacell UK financially supports the Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care for adults in a peaceful environment. To raise money for the charity, several actions were organised and colleagues enthusiastically participated in bike races and peak challenges for example.
Habitat for Humanity
“We build strength, stability, and self reliance through shelter” is the moto of this association Armacell supports through the Global Armacell Day. Habitat for Humanity is a global, nonprofit housing organisation and empowers people in the world’s poorest communities to overcome the lack of decent, affordable housing.
